This chapter aims to increase understanding of how engineering students can benefit from integrating emotional intelligence (EI) into curricula at universities. In particular, it explores the nature EI and argues for greater use within education, but also considers challenges placing an emphasis on this field. The makes recommendations skills be incorporated education universities seize opportunity shape modern engineer advance standing in future. chapter's contribution lies raising awareness not just about benefits that empathetic behaviour entail. authors argue university needs able prepare graduates with fundamentals success actual on-the-job skills.
